Sita unveils plans for new EFW Plant

Sita have announced plans for a second waste to energy plant alongside the existing facility at Haverton Hill in Teesside. This is the start of a public consultation process preceding a planning application by Sita to Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council this Summer
The £120m North East Energy Recovery Centre (NEERC) would be able to process upto 256,000 tonnes of household & commercial waste per year.
